Biography

Sunčica Andreja Rogan, dr.med., is a specialist of nuclear medicine with extensive experience in both conventional nuclear medicine and PET/CT hybrid molecular imaging technology, as well as in ultrasound diagnostics and thyroid disease. Her primary interest is the diagnosis of tumors, and the assessment of the effect of applied therapy with PET/CT, but also assessment of inflammation, as well as certain cardiovascular problems with this, today the most advanced imaging technique that integrates the molecular and radiological segments.

Dr. Rogan received her clinical education at the University Hospital Center “Sestre milosrdncie” Zagreb, and she gained her first experience in the application of PET/CT at the Medical University of Innsbruck, where she had a training through an International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) fellowship in 2008, and since 2011 she has been continuously engaged in PET/CT diagnostics, with the aim of introducing available new radiopharmaceuticals in PET diagnostics, and maintaining the highest quality of examination. She conducts continuous education in various European centers of excellence for nuclear medicine with effort to introduce all new techniques in nuclear medicine in the Republic of Croatia.

She is known for her open communication with patients and empathy, as well as dedicated teamwork.
